Written on spec (and rejected, we assume) for the Tim Allen movie "Crazy on the Outside." We liked the script, and we harbor hopes that the movie's good--though we haven't seen it and it looks like it got a rather abbreviated theatrical release. We finished it off for Warner-Chappell, and all's well.

Other important note: Tim Allen's character breaks in to his parole officer's apartment so that he and two other ex-cons can repaint it, as a way of showing his undying affection for her. This was the plot point that sparked the lyric for us.
